Vintage vinyl toy alligator figurine. Marked on bottom “Albert Alligator Copyright 1969 Walt Kelly. Made in Japan”. The head swivels 360 degrees and arms are moveable up and down. Condition is used. There is overall wear including color fading and discoloration spots. Please zoom all photos for more details. Measures approximately 2-1/2 inches W x 5-1/2 inches H x 3 inches depth. Albert Alligator is a character created by Walt Kelly for the comic strip “Pogo”. The strip ran from 1948-1975, and was a satirical and humorous commentary on politics, social issues, and human nature, often featuring anthropomorphic animals in the fictional Okefenokee Swamp.
