HELLO, and WELCOME to kentuckyrebel'srock'n'rollheaven, where I've specialized in selling MUSIC MEMORABILIA for over TWENTY YEARS on eBAY (and MANY MORE YEARS in the outside world, long before the advent of online auctions) and am clearly spreading my fins a bit with COLLECTIBLES such as this! THANKS, too, for the interest in my music group's last CD, "LISTEN UP... IT'S THE ECHOES"--free downloadable samples being AVAILABLE ONLINE at AllMusic and, of course, THE ECHOES OFFICIAL WEBSITE--and for the overwhelming response to our follow-up CD, "NOW HEAR THIS," online and in stores now! The WINNER of this "kentuckyrebel" AUCTION will receive ONE (1) 100% original, RARE, and vintage FLOATING / SPOUTING FISH bath toy--as manufactured by ECONOLITE sometime either in the 1950's or 1960's--with, from what I recall, this being an AVON PRODUCT since we had a number of vintage AVON BATH ITEMS around the house when I was little (all those years ago), although I can't find any images of or information on this little guy anywhere online! FISH measures approximately 7'' inches LONG, with his or her plastic having both hardened and yellowed; meaning I wouldn't try the spouting feature unless you're ready for some filets. Also, a little soap and water wouldn't hurt, but I'll leave that up to the lucky winner. Regardless, he or she will definitely DISPLAY NICELY, and should still float--although please SEE PHOTOS for overall CONDITION--my hating to GRADE my items since so many sellers seem to abuse both the English language and Oxford dictionary: adding a plethora of plusses to their own definitions of VG, EX, NM, etc. However, as is noted in my FEEDBACK FILE, I don't sell junk (since I, personally, don't like buying junk on eBay--or anywhere else, for that matter); and feel certain that this auction is SURE TO PLEASE the vintage TOY COLLECTOR and / or CONNOISSEUR (especially at the OPENING BID)!I always COMBINE SHIPPING on multiple auctions, and prefer to ship items by PRIORITY MAIL (available is asked for), but will make concessions since PARCEL POST is so much more inexpensive when able to be used; and may be used by me, in place of PRIORITY MAIL, in the event of MULTIPLE WINS since, as indicated, every ADDITIONAL AUCTION / ITEM SHIPS FREE for all ITEMS PAID FOR IN A SINGLE TRANSACTION (meaning DON’T PAY ’TIL ALL OF THE AUCTIONS YOU’RE BIDDING ON HAVE ENDED)! I also REFUND any amount overpaid on POSTAGE--although given I always add INSURANCE, and the fact eBay takes 10% of shipping off the top, I tend to lose money on, rather than profit from, POSTAL COSTS. Reluctantly, with the USPS having continued to RAISE THEIR RATES FOR ITEMS LEAVING THE COUNTRY--which all but killed my OVERSEAS SALES--coupled with eBay's insisting I provide TRACKING and PayPal insisting I add INSURANCE, I joined the eBay GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM in hopes of saving my buyers money, but have since found out that this isn't always so. In cases such as these, I'm more than happy to look into OVERSEAS POSTAGE myself, when asked, and definitely recommend this for buyers wanting to make MULTIPLE PURCHASES since eBay's GLOBAL SHIPPING doesn't tend to COMBINE SHIPPING, and I can usually save my customers a considerable amount when handling SHIPMENT for them directly. As this is an AUCTION--and not a DEPARTMENT STORE--I don't accept RETURNS; but since I try to be as thorough as possible in my descriptions, always include INSURANCE at my own expense, and (as my FEEDBACK notes) am known for my PACKING ABILITIES, there should be no foreseeable problems. I'm also known for my "LIGHT YEAR" / speedy SHIPMENT upon receiving PAYMENT; and always NOTIFY my buyers when payment is received and their item has SHIPPED!
